This institution is the fifth overseas partner of Broward College in Asia.  VATC was founded in 2000 to offer English language studies and vocational-technical training to students in Ho Chi Minh City.  It now has 28 campuses including 14 in Ho Chi Minh City serving a total of 18,000 students.  It is one of the fastest growing institutions higher learning in Vietnam.  

Beginning in October of 2007, VATC began offering English for Academic Purposes to prepare students to enroll in Broward College-style AS degrees in Business and Computer Science.  Plans are underway for them to begin these programs in the fall of 2008 with a long range goal of achieving SACS accreditation in the future.
