» Education Master Plan Goal 7- Course Delivery Task Forces

BC has successfully implemented e-learning initiatives. Students can earn an AA degree in several program areas, and a number of AAS and AS degrees, entirely on line.

To date, these initiatives have been driven in part by operational strategies, such as 'developing the 21st century professor.' However, BC's Education Master Plan has elevated e-learning as a means of addressing some of the challenges BC has with regard to facilities scheduling, and in responding to student preference to flexible, convenient course delivery.

As BC seeks to make e-learning more strategic in nature, an e-learning plan is being developed to define the scope, goals and outcomes for e-learning, and to develop strategies and initiatives for implementation. An Education Master Plan Course Delivery Task Force has been formed to create a comprehensive plan for e-learning.
