Pari selected music tracks from various CD collections and compiled those musical selections into thematic collections and created CD's for those collections. She also learned to download music from the Internet and manage Internet Explorer files and e-mail.

Intermediate Algebra: A Blended/Hybrid Course...
This is an Intermediate Algebra blended course with video lessons and quizzes available on line. The course content is identical to the traditional course and the class meets once a week for at least 75 minutes.

Jackie Conrad Body by Jackie...
Dr. Jackie Conrad was mentored by South Campus English Professor Neil Plakcy to set up a faculty website for Anatomy & Physiology I & II. He provided her with one-on-one instruction in web design practice as well as the technical aspects of Dreamweaver. The resulting site offers students lecture notes, lab schedule, tutor schedule, course syllabi, a link to the textbook site, and animations which help explain the function of the body's systems.

Health Connection...
An extensive, animated PowerPoint presentation on nutrition for use in class. The presentation addresses various aspects of nutrition while using the film “Supersize Me” to illustrate the principles presented in the slides.

Frances has been working on developing a website that will provide significant information for her Statistics, College Algebra and Liberal Arts Math classes.

Sonia created an Excel gradebook that weights projects differently to compile students’ grades. She also created a PowerPoint presentation called “Reflections from the Heart”.

Alchemy: Journey from Superstition to Skepticism...
Jeanette developed a PowerPoint presentation to trace the role of Alchemy in the history of chemistry. The presentation uses online images and text morphing and was recently presented at a state-wide conference sponsored by the Center for Inquiry.

Biology on the Go: The Mobile Biology Lab...
Nilo has learned to use the basic PDA software for both Palm and Pocket PC handhelds and interface with third party special application software running on the Palm Operating System. This special software will be used with other portable hardware that will allow for data collection in a mobile “Biology Lab” environment.

Reading from the Palm of Your Hand: Teaching Electronic Reading...
Mary has learned to download e-book resources from the internet, edit the material and share it with her students using Palm handheld computers and E-Book Studio software. The students will read the e-book material and respond to testing materials using the Palm Handheld in a wireless network environment.

Deborah has developed a faculty website geared towards delivering course information (Syllabi, policies, etc.) and listening assignments to speech communication students.

Digital Portfolio Of Student Art Projects...
The North Campus Art Department is engaged in a project to develop a digital library of art images to support classroom instruction. Scanned photographic slides constitute a portion of the digital image library and present challenges to achieve faithful rendering. In addition, a digital camera funded through TEF was used to image student art projects in 3-D design and ceramics classes. A slideshow was created in PowerPoint.

Chemistry Online...
Behnoush has created a fully online “Chemistry for Health Sciences” course for delivery over the summer session. As part of her assignments, students create PowerPoint presentations. She is also working on a fully online orientation.

As Faculty Senate President, Debbie has been working on a website that will provide up to date information not only for her students, but the faculty as well.

Donna has created a faculty web page using Dreamweaver. This is her first time using Dreamweaver software. She wanted to create a site that is not only lively and colorful, but also practical; a site that contains her course syllabi, course resources, and other course information.

Gloria took PowerPoints that were part of a textbook package and modified them to reflect the way she teaches that class. She then linked them to her website for students to access and use for studying.
