Following the professional development model of the nationally recognized iPod program of Georgia College and State University (GCSU), this program focuses on using podcasting technology to maximize higher order thinking among in students, particularly when addressing the need for flexible and engaging content delivery options for “millennial” students.

Similar to the GCSU model, the BC program assists faculty in developing rich media content that can aid in promoting student engagement in the learning process.

The iLeader group supports the expansion of podcasting to a broader group of colleagues, modeled on the train-the-trainer model. Additionally, the program has developed a central podcasting presence for BC, serving both faculty and students.
