The Center for Health Science Education and Broward's Workforce One have received funding from the US Department of Labor to address the critical shortage of nurses in the workforce. This innovative project will:

1) provide RNs that have been temporarily out of the workforce with a comprehensive, fully on-line refresher course; and

2) provide LPNs with a fully on-line curriculum that prepares these nurses to become RNs.
