This theme develops more advanced web and multimedia development capabilities to support teaching and learning.

Faculty completing professional development opportunities in this theme will be able to:

1) design and develop a content-rich, interactive faculty web site using the application "NVU";

2) use advanced web tools to enhance the faculty member's web site with interactive graphics and animation; design and produce video and audio files that may be "streamed" to students;

3) use instructional design principles to design teaching and learning strategies for delivery via the Internet, or within an e-learning course;

4) Develop educationally sound video content for delivery by streaming from BC's streaming server.
