Mobile computing devices are becoming the cutting edge of technology. While in the past few years they have served as electronic address and appointment books, the new devices on the market are no less than a line of tiny, full-featured computers.

For faculty interested in mobile and handheld technologies for use in education, two processional development opporuntities are available:

• The BC Mobile Computing Users Group meets monthly, and serves all BC employees who are intesteted in learning more about mobile technology; and
• The Mobile Technology Professor professional develoment track, which provides a learning path for beginners and novices alike.
