Vice President for Operations​

John M. Dunnuck serves as the Vice President for Operations at Broward College.  He is responsible for providing leadership and direction for College operations which include oversight of all capital construction, campus facility maintenance, procurement, campus safety and security, the bookstores, and food services. 
Dunnuck has seventeen years of experience leading multifaceted departments at the local and state levels.  He has served as Business Services Director for the South Florida Water Management District with oversight of the multi-billion dollar Everglades Restoration program. Prior to that position, he served as the Public Services and Community Development Administrator for Collier County (Naples, Florida). This entailed managing a staff of over 700 employees, thirteen departments including, but not limited to, all planning and zoning, code enforcement, building permits, growth management, parks and recreation, emergency medical services, and the library system.  He has managed all procurement activities for the City of Naples, previously, as well.
While new to the area, Dunnuck will serve on various business and civic organizations in support of the community.  Previously, he served as a Board member for Troup-Indiantown Water Control District and as a business advocate for International College.  Dunnuck continues to coordinate fundraising activities in support of research to treat Niemann Pick Disease.
Dunnuck earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois.
