Within a designated Learning Community class, you can expect to experience a collaborative learning environment. You can also expect to bring community into “community college” through active learning that connects to the real world. Although commuter students typically don’t have time to stay after classes and interact with fellow students, faculty, or counselors, a “Learning Community” experience gives you opportunities to learn, collaborate, and bond with diverse students and caring faculty during class time.
