Co-requisite: ENC0085

The laboratory component supplements your classroom instruction in ENC0085. This course must be taken concurrently with ENC0085. You will have work assigned in the Lab based on course objectives. You must complete the 32-hour lab requirement to receive credit in ENC0085. If you have not completed 32 hours in the Lab by the deadline date (near the end of the term), you will fail the course.

At the end of the term, the personnel at the Writing Lab will send your instructor a record of your Lab hours. You, however, must keep track of various Writing Lab deadlines. For example, you must complete a minimum number of hours by a date near the end of the term; you will not be able to do more than a certain number of hours per day after another date near the end of the term. Your professor will let you know what these deadlines are—but you are responsible for meeting them. These dates are posted in the Writing Lab. The Writing Lab will not make exceptions to any deadlines.
