ACADEMIC PROGRAMS IN ART

Broward Community College offers two-year Associate of Arts degrees in Studio Art and in Graphic Design. A four-year degree in Graphic Design is offered on the Central Campus in conjunction with Florida Atlantic University. Courses offered include Art History and Appreciation, 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional design, drawing, life drawing, painting, color & composition, watercolor, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, computer art, and graphic design.

Located in Building 3, the Central Campus art facilities include a slide lecture room, a large painting studio, a 2-D studio, a 3-D/sculpture studio, a ceramics studio, a new photography studio, a printmaking studio, the Fine Arts Gallery, and classrooms. The Fine Arts/Graphic Design Computer Lab is located in adjacent Bailey Hall.
