Welcome to Academic Affairs at Broward College!

Congratulations to you for visiting our web pages!

By visiting this college web page, I can tell that you are either considering taking classes or have committed to a program of study in higher education. Whether you are just out of high school or returning to college after some years out of the classroom, you will find the courses and programs you need to succeed at Broward College. For information on the General Education task force, please click here.

Broward College's faculty and staff are committed to ensuring a culture of learning.

A culture of learning requires a commitment from you, the student as well. Whether you are a recent high school student or a returning adult student, completing college requires time management and wise use of college resources. For recent graduates, going to college is like moving from a learner's permit to a driver's license; with a learner's permit you need the supervision of a licensed driver. With a driver's license, you can drive wherever and whenever you choose. In high school, your work and attendance were closely supervised; in college, your decisions to attend class, study, and complete assignments are all up to you. Whichever academic road you decide to take, you must commit to become the driver in your own learning journey in order to successfully achieve your goals.

What can you do as a Broward College learner?

Where and when will you learn?

Students, whatever your learning goals, use the tools available here to succeed. Be prepared for every class session. Do your best on assignments. Use the libraries on-line tutoring, computer labs, student services, learning resource centers, and faculty office hours. Study hard. Above all, go to class. By sitting in the driver's seat you will make good progress in your learning journey and get to your learning goals.

Vice President for Academic Affairs.
