Early field experience involves visitations to an assigned school in the classroom of a specific cooperating teacher. In Terms I and II, students must arrange their schedule to have a three-hour time block free one day each week, with no classes/work, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., for their field experience (Term III students must have a three-hour block free every day in May 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.).

The time block and the assigned day will be arranged with the cooperating teacher in order to complete 16 hours by the deadline date. Field experience will include critical observation and may involve field tutoring or assisting the Cooperating Teacher. Students will be placed for field experiences by the BCC Education Placement Office.
