Clearance ...
Each
student must successfully pass the School Board of Broward
County Security Clearance process. No other security
clearance is acceptable. Security clearance is not only
required for field experience and student teaching in Broward
County, but also to obtain a teaching certificate in the
State of Florida. Security clearance is valid for five years.
The cost is $60.
Security Clearance Procedures
1) Obtain a security clearance packet in your
education class;
2)Obtain a $60 money order made payable to the School Board of Broward County; and
3) Complete fingerprinting at:
