On August 1st, as the sun beat down on DTC students, Student Life organized an Ice Cream Bonanza in which students were given ice cream free of cost. The event took place on the second floor by the Student Activity Room and was scheduled to include both day and evening students. Downtown Center’s Student Government representatives were present to pass out the frozen treats as well as present issues that the student council is currently working on. All in all, the Ice Cream Bonanza was viewed as a great success for both Student Life and SGA, and we look forward to many future collaborations! –PS & CL.
