Ice Cream Social

As the blazing heat of another South Florida summer day, scorched everything in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale, the students of the Willis Holcombe Center enjoyed their air conditioned sanctuary. But in order to cool down the students even further, the Willis Holcombe Center Student Life and Student Government treated students to an afternoon ice cream delight. On Thursday July 8, from 11:30 to 5:30 pm students were able to choose from a wide variety of delicious ice cream treats. Students were able to choose from a wide variety of ice cream, including: Nestle Drumsticks, Klondike Bars, Ice Cream Sandwiches, Tollhouse Cookies, Philly Swirls, and Haagen Dazs Chocolate Almond Bars. “The ice cream social was a wonderful idea, and a fair number of students participated, and appreciated what Student Government and Student Life did; and that was good to know,” said Shantelle Harris, Student Government Secretary.
