The students of the Downtown Center got a little taste of Latin Flavor when El Club Hispano hosted this year’s Hispanic Heritage Celebration. Downtown Center students were treated to a wide variety of Cuban and Spanish style food and pastries, while being entertained by a Mariachi Band and a Flamenco Dancer. Several local vendors were on hand to assist the students with a variety of things from registering to vote to opening a checking account. The event was co-sponsored by DTC Student Life and FAU’s Owl Productions.
