Officer Training October 2004
As any experienced officer of a student organization will tell you, it isn’t easy running a successful student club or organization. It takes a lot of teamwork, dedication, and determination to achieve the goals you want to accomplish for your organization. In order to assist new, and returning student organization officers, the Student Life offices on North, Central, South and the Willis Holcombe Center all came together to facilitate an officer training session. The goal of the session was to equip student organization officers with some of the tools they will need, in order to improve themselves as leaders and the organization they are currently helping to lead. After lunch students attended workshops facilitated by Central Campus Provost, Dr. Lois Bolton, Charles Lyle, Student Life Director of Central Campus, Dr. Eileen Holden, Vice-President of Academic Affairs at Broward Community College, Dr. Ted Wright, Director for Research & Planning at Broward Community College, Dr. Carolane Williams, North Campus Provost, and Dr. Ed Henn Vice-President of Finance and Human Resources at Broward Community College.
