With Spring Break having come and gone, it’s only a matter of time before winter term also comes and goes. To celebrate the near-completion of the winter term, and to make sure students can still enjoy themselves on campus, Student Government and Student Life hosted their “Spring Fling” event for all Willis Holcombe Center students to enjoy. Spring Fling took place on Tuesday March 23, 2003 from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. Students who stopped by the event had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious, hot dog, bag of popcorn, or slice of pizza. Students also took advantage of the creative talents of ‘Joe and Lefty,’ an artistic duo who create one-of-a-kind art pieces using spray paint. The finish off the day several student attempted to eat an entire box of Lucky Charms cereal to win a Border’s gift card, Leonard Nelson was victorious.
