On Saturday March 20th the Willis Holcombe Center
Student Life Department held it’s first ever ‘Wet &
Wild Weekend’ at the brand new Broward Community College Tiger
Tail facility. The goal of the ‘Wet & Wild Weekend’
was to increase the participation of students at the WHC and get
them more involved with college life and activities. Students who
attended the ‘Wet and Wild Weekend’ were able to enjoy
some good old-fashioned burgers and hot dogs, along with some relatively-new,
but tasty treats; turkey and Boca burgers. Students also got the
opportunity to meet some of their fellow classmates and enjoy the
beautiful weather in a canoe ride out on the lake; totally free
of charge!
