The ESL student, English
as a Second Language, registered on South Campus has access to a number
of labs for help. Those registered in ESL Reading will be oriented to
all of the materials available through the Reading Lab to improve both
vocabulary and reading comprehension. Those registered in ESL grammar
classes will be able to take advantage of both the one-on-one tutoring
help to complete their writing assignments as well as dozens of books,
covering topics ranging from simple sentences to research papers. Students
in the ESL pronunciation classes will work in the state-of-the-art Language
Lab that provides many different opportunities for practicing the spoken
language.
Any South Campus, ESL student
is welcome to make use of the all of the Lab's resources.
