Broward College Non-Profit Organization Leader of the Year Award

mikeDeLucca.jpgMichael De Lucca, president and CEO of the Broward Regional Health Planning Council, was awarded the Broward College Non-Profit Organization Leader of the Year at the 3rd Annual PNC Non-Profit Academy Awards presented by 211 Broward and hosted by the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

The Broward Regional Health Planning Council has 95 employees who provide a variety of health programs and a budget of $12.5 million this year. The council’s programs include Healthy Families Broward, Broward County HIV Health Services Planning Council and Clinical Quality Assurance, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Programs, Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS, Transforming Our Community’s Health, Lead Agency for HIV and Matter of Balance. The council’s Health Data Warehouse was recognized as an innovative health data dissemination model by the CDC.
