Guidelines for Online Submissions: Please Read These Carefully


The Deadline for Submissions is Friday, October 21, 2011

You must fill out the online submission form prior to subitting your work.

POETRY and PROSE:

• No more than five [5] poems, any length, style, or language (one to a page)
• No more than two [2] prose pieces, fiction or non-fiction, no research papers, (5,000 words max, typed)
• Do not put your name on poetry and prose; submissions will not be returned.

ARTWORK, PHOTOGRAPHY, and GRAPHIC ART:

• No more than three [3] pieces of artwork, any medium, color work accepted
• No more than five (5) pieces of photography or graphic art, color work accepted
• If submitted digitally, should be in TIFF format, at least 300 DPI, CYMK (not RGB), and in the size appropriate for the magazine (8 !" by 11"). Photographs and artwork not submitted in the proper size and format will NOT be considered for the magazine.
• Work that is larger than 8 !" by 11" must be in a protective folder or portfolio
• Put your name on the back of work

Once the deadline has passed and selections have been made, you will be notified by email as to whether or not your work made it into the issue. To save paper (and money), we will no longer mail letters out. Additionally, any work to be returned will be brought back to the campus circled on this form.
