TESTING
This area ensures the proper course placement for all degree-seeking students who have not successfully completed college-level English and Math courses. The student must be assessed in Reading, English and Mathematics. See the bulletin board for Hours of Operation.
ADVISEMENT
Academic Advisors develop educational plans for degree-seeking students, as well as assisting non-degree seeking students with the selection of courses. See the bulletin board for Hours of Operation.

KEYS
The reception desk has access to keys for the entire building to include the Learning Resource Center. Exception: Rooms 205, 206,210 and 212. These rooms have been equipped with electronic locks that require swipe cards. Faculty teaching in those rooms will be issued a swipe card (through their department-South Campus) which will allow them entry. To have these rooms opened, please see Safety/Security at the reception desk.
PARKING /SECURITY
There is a clearly marked Faculty/Staff parking lot. Students taking classes at the Pines or Weston Centers will not be assessed a parking fee for classes held at those locations. Students have a designated parking area at the centers. Faculty will require hangtags and can get this through the Safety/Security at the Pines Center.

FACULTY OFFICES
Faculty Offices are located in Room -134
Mailboxes for each faculty member can be found in this room. Notices, etc. will be placed in faculty mailboxes along with all other mail. Check the bulletin board in this room for announcements. Evaluation packets sent from the departments on South Campus will be placed in faculty mailboxes. Evaluations are to be returned by a student to the Administration Office or after hours to the reception desk and will be forwarded to the faculty member’s department on the South Campus. Extra evaluations may be found in the copying area.

To report emergency absences, please call the main number of the Pines Center (954-201-3601, 7:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m.). A notice will be posted on the classroom door if cancellation is necessary. Also, the appropriate department of South Campus will be notified. Please speak with your department for all other absences.

CLASSROOMS
All classrooms are located on the 2nd floor. To access this area there is an elevator
and /or stairs. If there is a need to change the arrangement of a classroom, please make sure that at the end of the class the room is back in the original configuration. No food or drink is allowed into any classroom.
FACULTY EQUIPMENT
- There are two copiers. One is located in the Faculty Office and one in the Registration area. They require a special code. Please contact the front desk safety/security or receptionist for a code number. Please report problems with the copier to the reception desk. A supply of copy paper is located near each machine.
- A scantron machine is located in the Faculty Office.
MAKEUP TESTS
Arrangements for makeup tests may be made through the Student Affairs or Administrative Office. An entire class cannot do a makeup test through this special arrangement. Please contact your Associate Dean with regard to the proctoring of exams for an entire class.
