"Port" is another name for "Upgrade". Specifically, "Port" refers to upgrading C.I.D. BCC annually upgrades C.I.D., usually in the April/May timeframe. The FCCSC releases new versions once a year. The FCCSC Port Schedule page lists the dates that the new versions will be released.

Jennifer Day is the Port Project Manager. Every year, she starts the Port Planning Process by calling a meeting of the Project Leaders. This usually occurs in early February. Project Leaders assist the Project Manager in setting Testing Schedules, determining Testing Scenarios and coordinating Testers for their area, in addition to other Project Leader Responsibilities.
