Message from the President:
Greetings! Broward Community College is embarking on its re-accreditation
process, culminating with the Commission on College's reaffirmation
of our accreditation in the Spring of 2003. BCC has elected
to conduct the Alternative Model Self-Study which involves a review
of our compliance with the SACS criteria and an in-depth study on
how to improve student achievement. The purpose of this website
is to keep the BCC family informed about the process and to provide
visitors to the site with specific information about our self-study
and its structure. I hope you use this site to stay abreast
of this important process and to provide input regarding our strategic
studies on the issues of faculty development, student support
services, and diversity.
