The recently held Lyceum awards event is featured in the Sun-Sentinel’s SOCIETY section dated November 4th.
The 2nd Annual Lyceum Awards were held on October 3rd, 2009 at Parker Playhouse. The review was entitled "A Musical Salute to Excellence in Education." The curtain rose on performances by talented Broward College students. A very special guest: Brian Stokes Mitchell – Broadway leading man, Tony award winner and highly regarded humanitarian, performed throughout the evening as we recognized three outstanding scholars, eight Endowed Teaching Chair recipients and one very special alumna.
