CLEP Testing @ BCC

What is CLEP?
The College Level Examination Program allows students to obtain credit for what they already know by testing and earning satisfactory scores on CLEP exams. For more information visit http://www.collegeboard.com/clep/

Can I take a CLEP exam at Broward Community College?
Yes. You may take the CLEP exam at one of three testing centers: Central Campus, North Campus or South Campus.

Do I take the test on the computer?
Yes. BCC offers computer-based CLEP exams only.

How much time do I have to take the exam?
Each test is timed to a maximum of one and a half hour.

When do I get my test results?
At the beginning of each test you will be able to enter the name of the institutions where you want your tests scores sent. You will also receive your scores immediately after you complete the exam.

How much does it cost?

• Each CLEP exam is $65.00.



• There is also a $15.00 non-refundable BCC administrative fee per exam.
  

Do I have to become a BCC student to take the CLEP exam at BCC?
No. However, students who wish to come to BCC just to take the CLEP exam must submit a BCC non-credit admissions application to the Admissions/Registration Office.
