Computerized Placement Test (CPT)

In accordance with Florida State Law, Broward Community College requires all new students who are seeking a degree to have test scores. If you have SAT or ACT test scores, please bring them with you when you come Advisement/ Registration. If you have not taken either of the aforementioned tests, do not have the scores available or if the scores are more than two years old, you must take the Computerized Placement Test (CPT) at Broward Community College.

Things to note:

  • Plan for a one and a half hour test period for Computerized Placement Test (CPT).
  • Bring a picture identification such as driver's license or passport and your BCC application paid receipt.
  • You will need a ink pen and two #2 pencils at the time of testing.
  • You should be tested on the campus where you are planning to attend classes.
