Level Of English Proficiency (LOEP) Students whose Native Language is not English may be required to test to measure their English Proficiency before placement into classes. Students who have not had two years of American High School English must take the LOEP. The LOEP consists of two parts: a short essay and the computer skills test that measure reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, language uses and sentence skills. Things to note:
