For BC job developers, student services and employer services go hand-in-hand. 

Pre-Screening Services

To ensure the right student is being matched to the right job, job developers pre-screen student/graduate job seekers before they apply to your organization. This service is contingent upon salary (minimum of $12/per hour) and job title (position must be related to a specific AS, AAS degree or Certificate program; e.g. Job Title: Graphic Designer, Related Program: Graphic Design Technology AS degree).

 

On-Campus Recruitment

Employers are welcome to showcase employment opportunities* at any of our locations free of charge. Depending on the nature of your industry, types of positions you have available, and geographic location, some campus locations may suit you better than others. Consult with a job developer to identify the best campus, dates, and times to recruit.

Job Fairs

Broward College periodically hosts job fairs at each of our campus locations. Job fairs can be industry-specific, or general in nature. Contact a job developer to find out how your organization can participate.

 

Job Development

          

Is your organization experiencing a personnel shortage? Job developers can work with you to identify which of our technical education programs can best provide a solution for your staffing needs.  Contact a job developer to learn more.

Internships

           

Internships are essential for a student’s career development by providing the student with real-world experiences they can only find outside of the classroom.  Internships are also a great way to groom prospective employees into your organization. Job developers collaborate with students, faculty and the employer to develop internship opportunities with clear learning objectives.            

 

*Job developers do not provide employer services for commission-only positions or positions which require the employee to purchase goods for resale. Employer services are provided at the discretion of the job developer and are contingent upon the nature of the industry, organization, and employment opportunity.
