Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) provides nurses and other healthcare providers with a standardized, internationally disseminated pediatric educational program to enhance their knowledge, skill, and expertise in the care of children. The ENA supports the development of standards to ensure adequate and safe emergency care for children with injuries and illnesses. The Emergency Nursing Association believes that the knowledge and psychomotor skills, as identified in the ENPC, will assist professional nurses to systematically assess the pediatric patient and to intervene or assist with interventions in a manner that will decrease pediatric mortality and morbidity.
