This course explores the scientific and investigative methods used to solve serious crimes against persons. Topics include the advanced principles and theories in crime scene technology, such as specialized evidence collection, such as gun shot, blood splatter and bodies (distinguishing between causes of death, such as accidental, suicide or homicide; the use of autopsies; child and elderly abuse investigation.) (NOTE: this course utilizies graphic material that may make some students uncomfortable.) Student must meet the pre-requisites defined or have Instructor's approval.
