Aquatic Wellness emphasizes the importance of knowledge, attitudes, and practices relating to personal wellness. It is a course designed to expose students to a broad range of issues and information relating to the various aspects of personal wellness including physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and environmental wellness. This course integrates personal wellness and fitness in both a classroom and exercise environment. Students will incorporate and apply concepts of aquatic exercise and healthy living in ways that will contribute to the welfare of the community and the environment. This is an International/ Intercultural competency course.
