Biography Information
Dr. Karen Roberts received her Ph.D. in Art History (Modern Art) from SUNY University, Binghamton. She studied painting as an undergraduate. She currently teaches the following lecture classes: Art History I (Prehistoric to Baroque), Art History II (Rococo to Contemporary Art), and Art Appreciation. In the studio, Dr. Roberts teaches Beginning Drawing, Life Drawing, Color and Composition, Watercolor, Painting, and Painting Special Topics. She was one of five BCC faculty to be honored in 1992 in the first year of the colleges Endowed Teaching Chair program.
