Patrick Ellingham was
born in Buffalo, NY, March 16, 1948. He served in the US Navy as a
Hospital Corpsman, from 1968 until 1971. He received his BA in English and
an MA in Humanities from the University of Buffalo. He received his Ed. D.
from Nova
Southeastern University. He and his family moved to South
Florida in 1976. He currently lives in Hollywood. His daughter Erin lives
in Chicago. His son Christopher lives
with his family, wife Patti and their daughters Lauren,
Ashley and Emily in Clearwater, FL. He was the recipient of The First
Union Endowed Teaching Chair, 2001-2003. He is the faculty advisor for
P'an
Ku. |
Elvis, professional wrestling,
writing, biking, and the Everglades.
From 1974 until 1995, he
edited a poetry magazine, The
Cathartic.
He has had numerous poems
and stories published throughout the years.
