Edward Erazo

Biography Information

I was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and I studied in the U.S. Southwest and in Mexico. I have more than 30 years of teaching experience at the college and university level. In addition to my two master's degrees, I also have five years of doctoral studies in Educational Management & Development and Higher Education -- all in all, more than 220 credit hours at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Teaching Philosophy

I bring an interactive participation to my classroom for students, employing a variety of teaching strategies to encourage them to learn the material and work with fellow classmates. We also have some fun in a relaxed classroom atmosphere. I have worked at Broward College since 2002, serving as both an Associate Dean of Liberal Arts and a Faculty Librarian. Although I officially retired in 2014, I have continued to teach a few classes at Broward College.
