Biography Information

Mr. Lavoie has been employed at The School Board of Broward County, Florida since September, 1987. His duties consist of managing 15 technology staff in the support of over 100,000 district computers in both PC and Mac platforms. Additionally, he manages many district technology projects to include the implementation of a District-wide conversion to an entirely new telephone numbering plan, Year 2000 Microcomputer Upgrades and most recently, the management of dispersing 40,000 laptop computers Additionally, he has taught over 1500 students on how to productively use AutoCAD (including LT versions) releases 9, 10, 12, 14, 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
