Biography Information
I completed my radiography training in 1979 at Miami-Dade Community College. I had worked as a Radiographer and Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties for 25 years. I have been involved with the Radiography Program at Broward College since 1990 in the capacities of Clinical Instructor, Clinical Coordinator, Faculty, and Program Manager.
Teaching Philosophy
The main philosophy that underpins my teaching practice is that students learn best when a professor utilizes multiple methods of instruction to involve and motivate. While there may be many different kinds of learning, most categorize it in three domains: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. As such, I aspire to connect across all three domains, through the use of various instructional methods that speak to as many learning styles as possible.
