Automotive Service Management Tech A.A.S
The Broward College Automotive Technology Program makes sure you are heading down the right road. Our graduates find fulfilling work as service technicians at automobile dealerships and automobile repair service facilities.
Specialized training has its rewards, as the median pay for an automotive technician is approximately $30,000 to $34,000, and master technicians can earn as much as $70,000 to $100,000 per year. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that the number of working automotive bus and truck engine technicians will increase by 124,800 technicians through 2020.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography A.S.
The U.S. Department of Labor and Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that the employment of diagnostic medical sonographers is expected to increase by almost 14 percent from 2018 to 2028, which is faster than the average for all occupations. In addition, the aging population will only increase the demand for diagnostic medical sonographers.

Engineering Technology A.S.
Engineers are in high demand throughout the state and the country. Job growth for biomedical, electronics, telecommunications, and computer engineers ranges from nine to 64 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In Broward County, starting salaries for engineers range from $14 to $36 an hour, and average salaries for established professionals can reach from $23 to $60 an hour.

Environmental Science B.S.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as an Environmental Scientist or Specialist, you could perform many jobs, including:
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in environmental science is designed for students already holding an Associate of Science (A.S.) or Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from a regionally accredited college or university, to pursue a career as an entry-level scientist, specialized laboratory/field technician, classroom teacher, and/or progress to a graduate or professional degree program.
The curriculum will provide the students with a foundational understanding of science, critical thinking skills, experiential learning, ethics, and specific technical knowledge and skills required to work in the laboratory or the field. All students, regardless of track, complete classes such as Introduction to Ecology, Introduction to Soil Science, and Scientific Communication.
The program then splits into five tracks (Biosecurity, Physical Science, Biosecurity with Teaching Focus, Physical Science with Teaching Focus, and Physical Science 4+1 with UWF). These tracks address the major specialties and core competencies within each respective field and provide graduates with a wealth of discipline skills and knowledge that will make them competitive for employment within the environmental and biological science and STEM education workforce.
Music Technology A.S.
Master your own recordings, engineer sound for a famous pop artist, or work the soundboard at an exciting live venue through study in the A.S. program in Music Technology at Broward College.
Learn with industry-standard equipment in our sound studios and labs. Work with professionals in the field as you begin your recording production career.

Physical Therapy A.S.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics confirms good news for future graduates of BC's Physical Therapist Assistant Program since physical therapy is one of the country's fastest-growing healthcare occupations. Overall employment of physical therapist assistants is projected to grow 19 percent from 2023 to 2033, much faster than the average for all occupations.
The median annual wage for Physical Therapist Assistants was $64,080 in May 2023. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $42,110, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $88,830.
Physical therapist assistants held about 108,500 jobs in 2023. The largest employers of physical therapist assistants were as follows:
