Job Opening: Part-Time Lab Tutor – IT & Engineering

The IT & Engineering Department at Broward College is seeking a Part-Time Lab Tutor to support students in the Central Campus computer lab.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist students with coursework
• Support day-to-day computer lab operations
• Maintain classrooms and lab spaces
• Assist with special events as needed

Minimum Requirements

1. Applicants must have earned an “A” in Computer Literacy.
2. Strong communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
3. Preference given to IT & Engineering students.

Preferred Skills

• Python
• SQL / MySQL
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Java or C++
• Subnetting

Schedule & Location

• Flexible hours, Monday through Saturday (including special events)
• Location: Central Campus

Computer Lab Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00PM
• Saturday – Sunday: Closed

Compensation

$14 per hour
