Patient Care Technicians possess the technical skills necessary to service complex patient personal care. Topics covered in this course includes rehabilitation services, basic bedside care, collection of laboratory specimens, infection control, compliance, safety, professional responsibility, phlebotomy, and EKG. Upon successful completion of this course students will be prepared to take the Patient Care Technician certification exam.
