Course Description:
The student is provided with knowledge and skills needed to inspect, maintain, and repair sheet metal structures and components. The course provides the student an introduction to fiberglass, composites and other types of non-metallic structural material and methods of construction using these materials. This course is equired by the Federal Aviation Administration under 14 CFR Part 147 for those pursuing a mechanic certificate with an airframe rating.
