Need help paying for Career Training? If you're a Broward County resident, you may be eligible to receive a scholarship of up to $12,000 from CareerSource Broward for the in-demand career training programs below at Broward College.
If you are interested in taking a course in Information Technology, Process Improvement, and Advanced Manufacturing and are age 16 or older find out if you qualify.
New students start by selecting a Broward UP Starter Course option. Starter courses can include offerings such as Amazon Web Services Technical Essentials; Cybersecurity; Data Analysis Certificate; Essential Employability Soft Skills; Introduction to Project Management; Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Excel with Data Analysis; Social Media Marketing; and QuickBooks with Accounting Principles.

New and Expanding Businesses
QRT - Quick Response Training
New businesses or those relocating to or expanding in Florida may be eligible for grant dollars to help pay for training new employees. Finding talented applicants to fill new, high-quality jobs can be difficult. Budgets are tight and training is expensive. Florida’s Quick Response Training grant program has already helped more than 930 Florida businesses over the last 25 years increase productivity and profitability with well-trained new hires.
Quick Response funds businesses like yours to implement flexible and customized training for your new, full-time, permanent employees. Available only to new and expanding companies in Florida’s booming business market, Quick Response Training provides funds to create specialized training specifically for your high-skill industry. Grants are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
For-profit, small businesses may be eligible for a reimbursement of up to 75% of training costs for pre-approved training costs through Florida’s Incumbent Worker Training grant.
