PDPC Committee
Who we are
The Professional Development and Planning Committee (PDPC) is one of the College's Standing Committees. The President of the College and the Chair of the Faculty Senate appoint all members to the PDPC Committee and select the Committee co-Chairs. The committee membership is comprised of faculty, staff, administrators, and students from Broward College locations. The PDPC Committee may select a Travel and Program Subcommittee Chair.
What we do
The PDPC develops and promotes Professional Development Day, as well as other professional development activities at the college, makes recommendations relative to the funding of activities that are consistent with college policies, procedures, and priorities.
The PDPC receives proposals for funding from all employees for professional and program development. The committee members review the proposals and make recommendations for funding to the college provost that makes the final decision on all proposals.
