Before you pack your bags and brush up on your “Guten Tag” or “Hola,” let’s check off a few important boxes to make sure you’re eligible to join one of our unforgettable study abroad adventures through Broward College:

You’ve hit the big 1-8

That’s right—you must be 18 years or older. It’s not just about being a legal adult—it’s about being ready for grown-up global experiences!

Your GPA is holding it down

We’re looking for a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Some programs might ask for a little higher, but if you’ve been keeping up with your studies, you’re probably in great shape.

You’re on Team BC

You must be a degree-seeking student at Broward College who’s already completed at least 12 credit hours, including ENC 1101. So if you’ve already tackled freshman comp and a few other classes - you’re getting closer to takeoff!

Your passport is still working over

You’ll need a valid passport that doesn’t expire until at least 6 months after you return to the U.S. This is super important, and it’s a rule set by many countries—so check those dates!
