Faculty and Staff IDs

Every Faculty and Staff worker is required to have a Broward College ID card.

  1. Any new Faculty or Staff ID request must be made by the employee's supervisor or Department Access Coordinator (typically administrative support personnel) by emailing the request to the BC Campus Safety Access Control Team at bcAccess@broward.edu with the following information:
    • PID
    • Last name
    • First name
    • Access needed (include specific campus, building, exterior and interior doors, classroom numbers)
    • Name of person & campus location to send the completed ID badge to.
  2. The ID photo can be taken either at one of the Campus ID Centers (North, Central & South), depending on location and schedule, or at the Cypress Creek Administrative Center by appointment. Email bcAccess@broward.edu to schedule the appointment at the Cypress Creek Administrative Center and include the following information:
    • Date and time of requested appointment
    • PID
    • Last name
    • First name
    • Access needed (include specific campus, building, exterior and interior doors, classroom numbers)
    • Once the ID photo is completed, please notify the BC Campus Safety Access Control Team at bcAccess@broward.edu with the shipping information to coordinate photo and badge delivery (IDs cannot be mailed via commercial mail services).

Lost or stolen Faculty or Staff ID cards should be reported immediately to the BC Security Operations Center @ 954-201-HELP (4357) to maintain the safety of our campuses/centers.

Damaged or malfunctioning Faculty or Staff ID cards should be reported to the employee's Supervisor or Department Access Coordinator to coordinate replacement with the BC Campus Safety Access Control Team at bcAccess@broward.edu. This also applies to those badges that have been reported lost/stolen.
