BC Talks

The goals of BC Talks are to showcase the public speaking capabilities or spoken expressions of our student body, offer an opportunity for proficient speakers to gain experience, and educate students on the fundamentals of public speaking by observing proficient speakers.

Currently, BC Talks coordinates college-wide speech showcases and annual speech competitions. To participate, a student must be enrolled as a current part-time or full-time student.

Karaoke Hour

Join us for a spooktacular Halloween-themed karaoke event like no other. Students are encouraged to dress as their favorite music artist and take the stage to perform a favorite song by that artist. Whether you are channeling Beyoncé, Freddie Mercury, Lady Gaga, or another favorite performer with a spooky twist, this is your time to shine. Karaoke sign-ups will take place at the event on a first-come, first-served basis. To prepare, please select a karaoke version of your song from YouTube in advance. All song selections and performances must be appropriate for an academic setting. Come dressed to impress and get ready for a fun afternoon of music, costumes, and unforgettable performances. Pizza and refreshments will be served.
