Sometimes though, students have issues or concerns that may seem difficult to resolve. If you have tried to resolve your matter but still need additional support our office is here to assist you.
The Office of the Ombudsperson at Broward College is established per Florida Statutes 1006.51 and BC Policy 6Hx2-5.26 (PDF) to assist students with complaints or appeals.

Academic Disputes
For guidance and support on classroom experience and final course grades. This is the way through which students can appeal a final grade.
Student Complaint Resolution
The Ombuds Office will ensure students that their complaints will be received, heard, and addressed with consideration of fairness by the appropriate administrator/manager/supervisor of the College with oversight of a department or division.
