Dr. Jamonica Rolle

Dr. Rolle is the Vice Provost of Academic Affairs. She is responsible for leading Broward College's eight guided pathways and all accompanying degree programs. Dr. Rolle also provides general leadership for the College's north campus where she facilitates an engaging and dynamic campus learning environment. Dr. Rolle has more than 18 years of teaching and administrative experience, including Dean of the Communication Pathway, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Associate Dean of Communication & Fine Arts. Her full-time teaching experience includes serving as a Communication professor at Broward College, a Graduate Business Communication instructor at Florida Atlantic University, and an English and Reading teacher at Broward County Public Schools.

Throughout her career, Dr. Rolle has demonstrated the ability to lead change, foster a culture of inquiry and collaboration, and advance student success. She has effectively led numerous student retention and post-completion initiatives, including developmental education reform, a robust co-curricular student and faculty engagement agenda, community and institutional partnership agreements, and programs dedicated to supporting underserved populations.

Dr. Rolle earned a bachelor's and master's degree in Communication from Florida Atlantic University and a doctorate degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida. She serves on the board of directors for 211 Broward and engages in a variety of community and professional service activities.
